The main vegan associations in Europe, which also have a certification office, have expressed their position on the minimum criteria for the use of the “Vegan” claim in 2019.
The criteria of the EVE Vegan® certification mark are consistent with this EU position, and have been since the beginning of its certification activity. The association Vegan France, at the origin of the foundation of Expertise Vegan Europe, is one of the associations involved in this European consensus via the NGO Safe Food Advocacy.
